The Air Jordan IV “Pure Money” is ready to take everyone’s money

In the discussion for greatest Air Jordans of all time is most certainly the Jordan IV, and this forthcoming “Pure Money” retro IV sure feels like it’s gonna create a battle royal among sneakerheads upon its release.

When it comes to Jordan retro releases — and sneaker releases in general — you have to pick and choose your battles these days because every week another beauty from Nike or adidas is dangled in our faces. Unless of course, you have a bottomless budget. In which case, buy everything.

[NOTE: Sorry Steph, but we absolutely cannot include Under Armour in the above sentence because your latest kicks look exactly like vegetable soup. NOT IDEAL.]

But most people have some kind of limit, so even when something great comes along we’re left with no choice but to humbly take a hard pass.

Having said that — cue amazing Larry David/Jerry Seinfeld clip — the Air Jordan IV “Pure Money” release feels like a no-brainer.

Listen, we’re roughly two weeks away from Memorial Day. If you want your go-to summer shoes that you’ll put more effort into cleaning than your own car, you got ’em.

Especially if you have an invite to Diddy’s “white party” in the Hamptons.
