Adidas Baseball has taken a significant dive into MLB this season, with its latest offering being the adizero Afterburner “Dipped” Cleat Collection.

In May, the inventive minds at adidas Baseball combined true heart and creativity with its thoughtful Mother’s Day cleats, a shoe that incorporated the name of each MLB player’s mother (on the adidas roster) into the cleat’s design.

Then there were the outstanding “popsicle” cleats for the 4th of July.

Now, as we approach the final stretch of the 127-month baseball season, they’ve gone ahead and introduced an all-in “Dipped” cleat collection.

In short, if you like Skittles — and chances are you do unless you loathe nice things — you’ll probably enjoy the look and feel of these “dips.”

What’s officially been coined as “Collegiate Gold” at bottom right should honestly be on the feet of every Pittsburgh Pirate by day’s end.

Yup, that’s actually gonna be a must rather than a “should.”

More from adidas:

"With inspiration from sneaker trends around the world, the adizero Afterburner “Dipped” collection pushes new boundaries by offering 15 unique colors, including Power Red, Solar Red, Maroon, Purple, Dark Green, Emerald, Lime, Chalk White, Black, Onyx, Tactile Steel, Collegiate Gold, Collegiate Orange, Collegiate Royal and Collegiate Navy. The 2017 adizero Afterburner, the lightest cleat in the game, is engineered with a lightweight, seamless SPRINTSKIN upper with zoned support and a reinforced abrasion toecap for lateral movements and sprints between the bases."

Here’s a look at a few more of my favorites.

Members of the Oakland A’s are fortunate enough to technically have two choices that go along with their color scheme.

Or, if the Yankees allow Aaron Judge or Gary Sanchez or anyone on their roster to get a little freaky for a change, these are perfect.

Considering that roughly half the teams in Major League Baseball have an accent of red incorporated into their unis, I see no reason why these won’t be everywhere.
