Sometimes we get so caught up in winning in college football that we forget about some of the head coaches that have the best “cool teacher” personalities.

The great college football programs in the country start with a solid head coach. If a program has a good head coach it can build a foundation around, the sky is the limit. Yet, a lot of coaches get recognition for other things than just winning.

It might not always be good exposure, but there are some coaches that are consistently in the headlines because of personality. Entertaining coaches can make for some great times during the off-season when media days come around. During a long offseason that lasts more than eight months, entertainment from some of the biggest personalities in the country can help fill the time.

We are more than halfway through the 2017 season, and things are really starting to shape up in the College Football Playoff picture and conference title races as well. This does not seem like the right time to take a step back and look at which head coaches truly entertain their fan base.

Sometimes it can be good to take a step back and forget about what is going on in the middle of the season, especially for programs having a rough campaign in 2017.

Teams like the Tennessee Volunteers, UCLA Bruins, Nebraska Cornhuskers, etc. could be losing head coaches soon as well. Bringing in new head coaches with more entertaining personalities can spark excitement from both the locker room and the fan base.

Yet, there has not been any major move made in terms of firing a coach from a big-time program during the regular season. That is something that could happen soon, though.

Now, let’s take a look at a ranking of the 25 college football head coaches with the best “cool teacher” personalities in the nation.
