With the announcement of NBA All-Star reserves (in a bizarre trickle from various NBA twitter reporters), it seems everyone feels compelled to discuss who got left out. The annual All-Star snub show. We at Fastbreak Breakfast have taken a different tact, and recorded a nearly 75 minute new episode that is entirely about current NBA events but does not mention the All-Star teams one time. (Ok maybe one time. I didn’t actually count.)

So if you want to debate the merits of Andre Drummond over Bradley Beal or John Wall, I’m sorry, we can’t help you this time. But if you want to know about Myles Turner splitting his pants while celebrating for the Pacers, you’ve come to the right place.

Also covered in this brand new episode:

  • Were J.J. Barea’s biting claims about John Wall’s teammates not liking him valid? Was it just a cutting retort to Wall’s derogatory insult or is there any truth to it?
  • Speaking of the Wizards, how did Dwight Howard get the last laugh against Washington?
  • The Hornets and Heat played down to the wire. Was the game-ending foul call benefitting Kelly Olynyk and Miami justified?
  • What’s the record for the most coaches ejected in a game on the same team?
  • Is there an event, real or imaginary, that we would you like to see added to NBA All-Star weekend?

Plus, the return of the Grizzlies Epilogue, where we mull what the attitude of fans hoping for a franchise-sustaining top lottery pick should be after five straight home wins.

All Fastbreak Breakfast episodes are also available for download on iTunes and Soundcloud.
