Four points separate Leicester and Bournemouth in the Premier League table. The Foxes are 8th with 36 points, while the Cherries are 11th with 32 points. On Saturday, Leicester host Bournemouth at King Power Stadium with both teams hoping to pick up three points and get further from the relegation zone.
Leicester have been disappointing over their last four games, picking up only two points. The Foxes lost to Everton and Manchester City and settled for draws with relegation zone clubs Swansea and Stoke. Defensively, Claude Puel’s side have struggled this season allowing 41 goals. To make up for their average defense, Leicester have the most goals of any team outside of the top six. Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, and Shinji Okazaki have combined for 27 goals this season. The Foxes will lean on the trio as they look to pick up their first win since Jan. 20.
Bournemouth have lost only once since Boxing Day, picking up 16 points in their last nine games. After sitting in the relegation zone on Boxing Day, the Cherries are now five points clear of the drop zone. Bournemouth are middle of the league offensively, with Callum Wilson leading the club with seven goals this season. However, the Cherries have struggled defensively. Only six teams have allowed more goals than Bournemouth.
