At X Games Minneapolis 2018, is Lacey Baker competing in the women’s skateboard street contest?

The Summer X Games returns to Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the second year in a row when it kicks off on Thursday, July 19, and runs through the 22. Viewers will get a series of extreme sporting events, live concerts and if you’re there in person, some pretty rad swag booths.

But the question that seems to be on the minds of virtually all women’s skateboarding fans is — will Lacey Baker be competing?

Well, we’ve got some great news: She is!

Baker is one of the most well-known female skaters in the scene today and was even dubbed the “Rebel Queen of Skateboarding” by Rolling Stone magazine. Baker debuted with a bang when she became the youngest athlete to win a medal at the X Games. At just 14 years old, Baker took home the silver. She has competed in a whopping 11 X Games.

Baker will be competing against some of the top skateboarders from around the world.
