Tom Brady ended his press conference early on Saturday when questions about his and Julian Edelman’s personal trainer arose.

Over the last few seasons, as he’s dealt with questions about deflated footballs and suspensions, Tom Brady seems to be growing increasingly annoyed with the media. He’s even been known to abruptly end a few press conferences if he gets a little too fed up with the questions.

The media further antagonized Brady on Saturday morning during New England Patriots training camp in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Seeing as how star wide receiver Julian Edelman will be serving a four-game suspension to start the 2018 season as a result of violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy, Brady was asked if it was reasonable to connect Edelman’s issue to trainer Alex Guerrero, who was helping him recover from a torn ACL that kept him out all of last season.

A visibly irritated Brady didn’t have much to say.

“I have no comment,” he said. “That’s just ridiculous. I’m out. See you guys.”

And then he picked up his helmet and walked away.

Guerrero is Brady’s personal trainer as well, and is a big reason why Brady has been able to stay in such tremendous shape to keep playing quarterback at an elite level into his 40s. Brady has a very close relationship with Guerrero, something that has seemingly caused some tension within the Patriots organization, as head coach Bill Belichick has not allowed Guerrero to be around the team.

This has been one of the handful of reasons why many have assumed that Brady and Belichick, who have been together since the 2000 season, are no longer seeing eye-to-eye. Though those rumors have repeatedly been denied, it makes you wonder what exactly the deal is with Guerrero that causes controversy to follow him around.

As the 2018 season gets underway in a few short weeks, it will be interesting to see if the presence of Guerrero causes any further rifts within the organization. One thing is for sure: Brady won’t be answering any questions about it any time soon.
