This weekend, as with every weekend, there’s several potentially great college football matchups that aren’t receiving the attention that they deserve. Most of the time this happens because the teams involved aren’t as notable or even as good as other teams playing. This weekend, however, there’s several college football games that deserve attention and some of them have a ranked team in said game.
Around the country, there’s been some chaos lately. Highly ranked teams have come crashing down due to surprisingly tough opponents. Before the chaos became real, several highly ranked teams had close calls.
Clemson, the second best team in the country at the moment, destroyed NC State last weekend. However, earlier in the season, the Tigers almost lost to Syracuse. West Virginia had some issues with Texas Tech a few weeks back and then lost to Iowa State just two weeks ago.
Now, there’s a couple of matchups that involve those teams.
There’s also several other interesting college football games going on around the country. High powered offenses are facing off against teams that are adaptable and have won a multitude of matchups. Teams that have rugged defenses are tasked with slowing down dynamic passing attacks.
