The Kentucky Wildcats lost a frustrating game to the Alabama Crimson Tide the last time they took the court. Now, UK has a perfect opportunity to get a conference win against the Texas A&M Aggies.
Texas A&M is struggling this year. To be more precise, the Aggies are sitting at .500 right now after failing to start the 2018-2019 season with any sort of momentum. To put it simply, Texas A&M really has no reason for hope as it heads into Rupp Arena for a game against the Kentucky Wildcats.
But, hey, technically there’s a chance that A&M could win this evening.
Kentucky is coming off of a loss of their own. The Wildcats lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide by two points in their Southeastern Conference opener. Now, Kentucky has to be licking its chops at the thought of getting an easy win against a conference foe.
This would be the perfect opportunity for Kentucky to get things back on track at home after that Alabama loss in Tuscaloosa.
Given that the Aggies are currently on a two game losing streak and were blown out by the Texas Southern Tigers back at the end of December, it’s hard to see Texas A&M coming out on top of this game. Stranger things have happened though.
The Aggies must hope that their young, turnover prone roster is able to keep up with Kentucky in Lexington tonight.

At the moment, Kentucky isn’t quite as good as they have been in years past, but the Wildcats are much more likely to pull things together than Texas A&M is. The Aggies are struggling this year and it’s hard to imagine them turning things around, especially tonight.
