After a hellacious main event between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho, the man formerly known as WWE’s Dean Ambrose came in through the Las Vegas crowd and created chaos.

Jon Moxley is officially in All Elite Wrestling.

Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, just left WWE in late April of this year and many fans were speculating on where the Lunatic Fringe would call his new home. Once leaving WWE, Moxley released a video on social media that seemed to hint that he was heading to AEW. But was it just a red herring?

On Saturday night, the fans got their answer.

As Chris Jericho was celebrating his win over Kenny Omega by berating the fans with a live microphone, Moxley made his entrance through the crowd and attacked Jericho.

Handing out his patented DDT finisher to Jericho and the referee, Moxley attempted to do the same to the recovering Omega but met some resistance as The Best Bout Machine fought back.

Spilling out into the crowd and eventually onto the casino-styled stage, Moxley and Omega fought tooth and nail until Moxley delivered the DDT onto Omega atop the oversized poker chips. Moxley was not done, however, as he hoisted Omega up and threw him off the chips and onto a section of the stage.

All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural show ended with Moxley standing atop the poker chips as he surveyed the chaos he had created.

AEW knocked their debut out of the park as Moxley’s arrival was the cherry-on-top of a card that featured several historic moments, including Cody Rhodes beating his brother Dustin, the surprise addition to the women’s three-way dance and Bret Hart unveiling the company’s World Heavyweight Championship belt.

Fans can now expect to see Moxley bring his own brand of violence to all of AEW’s ventures in the future as the company looks to be pushing him as a main event-level star right out of the gate.
