A look at the start time, match card, live stream info and more for Fight for the Fallen, the newest event from All Elite Wrestling.

If you thought WWE had a quick turnaround between Stomping Grounds and Extreme Rules, All Elite Wrestling is moving even quicker as they prepare for this Saturday night’s Fight for the Fallen event, which takes place just two weeks after Fyter Fest.

Like Fyter Fest, Fight for the Fallen is more of a charitable event than an actual pay-per-view, with a portion of the proceeds going to victims of gun violence. But that doesn’t mean that AEW won’t be treating this third live event as an important step towards next month’s huge All Out pay-per-view event, which will in turn lead right into All Elite’s debut on TNT this fall.

There obviously hasn’t been a lot of time to build storylines for everyone in AEW thus far but everyone on the Fight for the Fallen card this Saturday, which will air on Bleacher Report Live, was involved in either Double or Nothing or Fyter Fest. So while every match on the card might not have a huge story attached to it, these are familiar names to those who have watched AEW from the start and viewers are likely to see some things that will help move along the stories that do exist.

And in the unlikely event that nothing progresses, professional wrestling fans will simply get to see some of the best wrestlers in the world doing what they do best. As of the time of this writing, there have only been six official matches announced but that could certainly change once the show gets rolling.

Here’s everything you need to know about AEW Fight for the Fallen.

AEW Fight for the Fallen match card

Joey Janela, Jimmy Havoc & Darby Allin vs. Shawn Spears, MJF & Sammy Guevara (“The Buy In” preshow match)

There’s actually more to this match than meets the eye and is certainly a great addition to the card. The trio of Janela, Havoc and Allin should be dynamite to watch but there’s a bit of friction on the other side of the ring. Following Shawn Spears’ vicious attack on Cody at Fyter Fest, MJF was one of the first to check on Cody afterwards and had some very harsh comments towards the former Tye Dillinger at the post-show press conference. Can those two co-exist on the same team?

An appearance from Chris Jericho

While absent at Fyter Fest, Chris Jericho is scheduled to make an appearance at Fight for the Fallen, likely cutting some sort of promo to talk up his upcoming AEW World Title match with Hangman Page at All Out.

Hangman Page vs. Kip Sabian

Speaking of Hangman Page, he’s scheduled to do battle with Kip Sabian this Saturday in a match that was announced at Fyter Fest. There’s no real backstory here as this just should be a fantastic match between two outstanding talents. Page could see some interference from Jericho or even MJF, with whom he’s been at odds since Double or Nothing.

Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie

This match was announced for Fight for the Fallen all the way back in April and will be Brandi Rhodes’ first time in the ring for AEW. Allie is coming off of a win over Leva Bates at Fyter Fest and Brandi was seen doing some scouting backstage. This doesn’t appear to be anything more than a one-off exhibition, but we may see a few other members of the All Elite women’s division get involved here.

SoCal Uncensored vs. The Lucha Brothers

In a match announced earlier this week, two of the greatest tag teams in the world will go at it at Fight for the Fallen as Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky of SoCal Uncensored will take on the AAA Tag Team Champions, Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix. It’s been said that wins and losses will actually be a big thing when AEW debuts on TNT this fall and both teams could use a big victory here.

Pentagon and Fenix already have two losses in two AEW appearances and Kazarian and Scorpio lost in a Triple Threat with the Best Friends and Private Party at Fyter Fest. However, their full trio, which also includes Christopher Daniels (who himself lost two weeks ago to CIMA) did pick up a win at Double or Nothing against the Strong Hearts. This one could go either way and will definitely be entertaining.

Kenny Omega vs. CIMA

We all know that Kenny Omega is set for a dream matchup with Jon Moxley at All Out next month but he’ll first have to get through CIMA. Each of these men have had matches at both Double or Nothing and Fyter Fest, with each posting a 1-1 record. Omega lost in the main event to Chris Jericho in Vegas but scored a win two weeks ago by teaming up with The Young Bucks to defeat The Lucha Brothers and Laredo Kid.

CIMA, as noted just a moment ago, beat Christopher Daniels at Fyter Fest after losing to SoCal Uncensored as a whole in a six-man tag at Double or Nothing. Logic says that Moxley is likely to show up here to get involved, which could cost Omega the match and which would only add more animosity to what should be one of the biggest matches on the card next month.

The Young Bucks vs. Cody & Dustin Rhodes

Following an epic match at Double or Nothing, the Rhodes brothers embraced and agreed to partner up to take on The Young Bucks, and that’s really the only storyline working here. There’s been no feud or animosity or hatred, but just a desire to go out and show what All Elite Wrestling is all about. While there’s a chance that Shawn Spears gets involved to further his storyline with Cody (just no more chair shots to the head), one would hope that would happen after the match so the four men in this bout can just go out and put on a great tag match that will likely close the show.
