As we begin the home stretch of the fantasy football regular season, let’s take a look at the players that could get you that much needed week nine win.

Don’t look now, but the fantasy football regular season is quickly coming to a close. It’s just about time to make one final run at a playoff spot with just a handful of games to turn things around if your team is struggling or to hold the competition at bay if you have been fortunate enough to find early success.

Last week was full of very strong fantasy performances, as 31 players scored 20+ ESPN standard PPR points. Guys that were drafted towards the top of drafts like Mike Evans, Saquon Barkley Dalvin Cook, Deshaun Watson, Christian McCaffrey, Michael Thomas, and Aaron Rodgers were among those guys who showed why they were drafted so high. Guys like Cooper Kupp, Kenny Golladay, Aaron Jones, and Julian Edelman were out to show that they belong in that top tier as well.

If you didn’t have one or two or those 20+ scorers in week eight, you probably struggled to secure a victory. There were so many solid fantasy football performances that if your team had an off day, the opposition likely did not.

I’ll briefly reflect on the accuracy of my rankings from last week at each position, but if you’d like to compare for yourself, you can find last week’s article here and ESPN’s weekly scoring leaders here.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article, and I hope it helps you decide who to start in your season-long lineups or gives you an idea of who I may like as DFS plays this week.
