Inter Milan face Napoli at San Siro on Tuesday, July 28. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Antonio Conte arrived at Inter in the summer with a reputation for exceptional debut domestic seasons at the clubs he coaches, having led Chelsea to the Premier League title in 2016-17 and Juventus to a Serie A triumph five years earlier, the latter being achieved without losing a single league game.

That streak has come to an end, however, with Juventus already crowned champions again and Inter instead battling it out with Atalanta and Lazio for the runners-up position. Conte has been characteristically caustic in his assessment of this situation, saying that “second place is just first for losers.”

Nonetheless, Inter have improved under Conte. After scraping their way to Champions League qualification on the very last day of the season for the past two years, they’ve long been assured of at least finishing fourth this term, and they’re ten points better off than at the same stage of the last campaign.

Meanwhile, Gennaro Gattuso has deservedly earned plaudits for the performances of his Napoli side since the restart, but that good form has come too late for them to have any hope of a top-four finish.
