Juventus face Lyon at the Juventus Stadium on Friday, August 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Juventus’ preoccupation with winning this tournament is, of course, why the club paid more than €100 million for a 33-year-old in the summer of 2018. And it’s also why Maurizio Sarri’s future is in doubt despite him having led Juve to a ninth straight Serie A title.

Although just three clubs have made the final of this competition more times than Juve, the Turin giants have only won twice in the nine that they’ve reached, most recently losing in 2015 and 2017 to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

Lyon were impressive in the first leg of this tie, which saw them win 1-0 way back in February, and they could count themselves unfortunate not to emerge with a greater margin of victory.

They held PSG to a goalless draw in normal time before losing on penalties in the Coupe de la Ligue final last weekend, and the same result after 90 minutes would see them go through here.

However, Lyon have seen both Lucas Tousart and Martin Terrier depart since the Ligue 1 season ended without the club making any signings of note. Moussa Dembélé, Memphis Depay and Houssem Aouar could also be set for big money moves away from the Groupama Stadium this summer.
