The 2021 NFL Draft will commence on Thursday night live from Cleveland, Ohio.

On Thursday night, lives will forever be changed with the 2021 NFL Draft.

After going completely virtual last year, the 2021 NFL Draft will be held in front of a live audience in Cleveland, Ohio. A handful of top prospects will be in attendance to hear their names called and give NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a big, ole bear hug as they make their way onto the stage. So what time does the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft begin? How long is the wait?

You are not going to have to wait all that much longer, as the draft is upon us.

What time does the 2021 NFL Draft start?

The 2021 NFL Draft begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. You can watch on ESPN, NFL Network and ABC.

This is when the Jacksonville Jaguars will be on the clock to take their sweet time before picking Trevor Lawrence No. 1 overall out of Clemson.

The same sort of time-wasting charade will happen the following pick when the New York Jets plan to use all the available clock before taking Zach Wilson at No. 2.

Then, the draft really begins at No. 3.

What the San Francisco 49ers do at No. 3 will set up how the rest of the draft will follow. Though they are expected to take a quarterback, they could take Justin Fields out of Ohio State, Mac Jones out of Alabama or Trey Lance out of North Dakota State. After they make it three quarterbacks in a row, all eyes will be on what the Atlanta Falcons plan to do with their No. 4 overall selection.

Be sure to be near a TV set at 8:00 p.m. ET for all the draft action to commence from Cleveland.
