Luka Doncic is in jeopardy of missing Game 4 for the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.

After losing Game 3 at home on Friday to the LA Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks may drop both at home if their superstar Luka Doncic cannot play for them.

Marc Stein of The New York Times reports Doncic is questionable to play in Game 4 on Sunday night due to a cervical strain. He has complained about issues with his back and his arm since Game 3 ended on Friday night. Doncic scored 44 points in the Mavericks’ 118-108 loss to the Clippers. If he cannot go in Game 4, this could completely change the momentum of the series.

How worried should Mavs fans be about Doncic potentially missing Game 4 on Sunday?

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is listed as questionable for Game 4 Sunday

If Doncic cannot play, you can probably give Game 4 to the visiting Clippers. While he has been the best player in this best-of-seven series, the Mavericks do not have the depth to overcome a bad game — or an absence, for that matter — from their best player. Should Doncic be sidelined, you can count on Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the rest of the Clippers to take complete advantage.

Thus far, the road team has won every game in this best-of-seven series. If the Clippers were to steal back-to-back games from the Mavericks in Dallas, then it would become a completely new series with three games left. Los Angeles would have home-court advantage, should this one go all seven games. Mavericks fans better pray that Doncic is able to go on Sunday or it could be a rough night.

Dallas will only go as far as Doncic can take them in this best-of-seven series vs. the Clippers.
