Most fans loved Bob Stoops replacing Urban Meyer on FOX, others thought he was drunk

While some college football fans loved seeing Bob Stoops on FOX, others missed his predecessor. 

With Urban Meyer choosing to return to coaching, FOX needed to find someone to take his spot in the studio and at games. That’s where Bob Stoops comes in. It seemed natural to replace one legendary college football coach with another.

So far, the move get Stoops on air seems to be a pretty good one. The former Oklahoma coach was a hit with some college football fans.

Of course, as with anything, you can’t make everyone happy. Some college football fans happen to think Meyer was a better fit for the gig.

It’s not a huge surprise that Stoops has some things to work on here. This is his first time on air with FOX while Meyer had been with the network for a little while. Plus, Meyer had previously spent some time with ESPN. We’ll see how Stoops does after a few weeks.
