New York Yankees color commentator Susyn Waldman didn’t hold back in calling out the team after the AL Wild Card loss.

Things really just have gone from bad to worse for the New York Yankees. Entering the season with dreams of winning the World Series, the team was embarrassed on Tuesday night in the AL Wild Card Game. Boston dominated and the club’s season is now over.

Countless folks have blasted Aaron Boone and the Yankees front office as a whole for what turned out to be another lost season. You can add color commentator Susyn Waldman to the list, as she voiced her displeasure with the Yankees for everyone to hear.

It’s going to be a long offseason for the New York Yankees

In the clip above, Waldman has clearly had it with what’s going on with the Yankees and their decisions. Boone only made things worse when he said that other clubs in the American League had ‘caught up’ to the Yankees. What in the world is he talking about?

The Astros have been miles ahead of New York, while Tampa Bay has looked like the class of the AL East as well. Just when people start to get excited about this team, they completely blow it and bring everyone back to earth.

This was once against showcased in the loss to the Red Sox. Boone sent out Gerrit Cole and everyone figured he’d be able to live up this massive contract and pitch like a true ace in a must-win game.

Instead, Cole choked and the Red Sox chased him out of this contest early on. It was a major disappointment and he’s been getting blasted for his performance left and right on Twitter. Something needs to change for New York this offseason. Boone should feel lucky if he’s given a new contract, but things aren’t looking too promising for him.

Next. 3 players the Yankees should sign to win World Series next year. dark
