A Tennessee Volunteers fan proved they are the ultimate fanatic by showing off his checkerboard beard.

Saturday night’s game between the Tennessee Volunteers and No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels had it all. From Lane Kiffin waving hello to booing fans at Neyland Stadium, to the now viral video of a man’s meme-worthy reaction to a fumble recovery touchdown that wasn’t.

But when it comes to who is the most diehard Volunteers fan in the stadium, this one man has got everyone beat with his checkerboard beard.

You have to admire that fan’s dedication. Imagine the amount of time it took for him to get the beard to look like that? Simply put, it took serious commitment to pull this off.

That fan was obviously celebrating what was taking place during what turned out to be an insane game. Tennessee entered the halftime trailing 24-12 but kept pace as the Rebels continuously put points on the board.

Tennessee had upset on their minds entering this weekend, with a victory all but clinching a tumble down the AP Top 25 rankings for Ole Miss. And for this fan, he wanted to take in this game in person while donning a checkerboard beard that matched the end zones of Neyland Stadium.
