Michigan State football fans are apparently chucking snowballs at the Penn State Nittany Lions and their head coach, James Franklin.

It looks like Michigan State football fans might be tossing snowballs in the direction of the Penn State Nittany Lions and James Franklin.

According to a tweet from Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, Franklin is the one who indicated to the officials that snowballs were being hurled at his team’s sideline.

In a video posted by Colton Pouncy of The Athletic, you can hear a referee with his mic on calling for security to show up.

That’s not exactly a good look for Michigan State.

This isn’t necessarily the biggest thing ever and it’s not the end of the world, but it is kinda weird and inappropriate.

That’s especially true when you consider the fact that Michigan State fans have already had an incident in which they flipped over a random car, burned some couches, and apparently set off smoke bombs earlier this year.

While this particular deal isn’t quite that bad, it’s still pretty noteworthy.

If anything, it’s pretty similar to the incident in which Tennessee Volunteer fans made headlines for throwing trash, a mustard bottle, and apparently a golf ball at the Ole Miss Rebels and their head coach, Lane Kiffin.

Getting hit with a snowball probably feels a lot better than getting hit with a mustard bottle or a golf ball though. At least there’s that to consider here. But, you know, maybe also consider not throwing things at folks on the sideline or in the game.
