One notable former Ohio State football coach has a message for Buckeye fans. Urban Meyer is showing his support for Ohio State in its game against Michigan.

Urban Meyer, the current head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and formerly a fairly notable Ohio State football coach, has made his rooting interests for one particular game pretty well known.

It’s no secret that Meyer is still an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and so it shouldn’t be a shocker as to who he’s rooting for as the Buckeyes battle the Michigan Wolverines in their annual rivalry matchup.

Ahead of the start of “The Game,” Meyer made it clear that he was rooting against Michigan as he shared this message on Twitter:

Meyer, whose tenure at Ohio State ended at the end of the 2018 season in a bit of controversy due to a notable scandal, was one of the most successful coaches in Ohio State history and his successor, Ryan Day, was once Meyer’s offensive coordinator, so it makes sense that he’d be interested in seeing the program continue to succeed.

Add that to the fact that Meyer himself is from Ohio and it definitely fits that he’d continue to cheer for the Buckeyes.
