A college football team’s ability to recruit is generally linked to its ability to win. If a team is able to recruit at a high level, that’s typically an indicator of whether that it should be able to generate and sustain success moving forward.

With the Aggies currently holding the top spot, there’s a good reason for Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M football fans to be optimistic about the future. Sure, the Aggies underachieved, this year, but Texas A&M is punching above its weight in recruiting and building a good foundation for a potential success later down the line.

Of course, right behind the Aggies sit the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. Both Nick Saban and Kirby Smart have been recruiting at a high level for years and they’ve been able to get the most out of their talent. No reason to believe they won’t continue winning for years to come.
