Did quarterback Aaron Rodgers just subtly let people know he’s going to retire with his latest Instagram post?

Every single day, people are guessing what’s going to end up happening with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. This is the same dance from last year, as the belief was that he’d leave the team. Instead, he came back and recorded another MVP season.

Now, though, it’s really feeling like Rodgers may have played his last down with the team. In his latest Instagram post, Rodgers’ final photo showcases just Randall Cobb and Davante Adams, which has fans believing this is his first showing of sending a goodbye to the team.

Will Aaron Rodgers return to the Green Bay Packers next season?

As noted by Ari Meirov, Rodgers usually is in the middle of Adams and Cobb for the National Anthem. In that last photo, however, Rodgers is nowhere to be seen. This has the Packers faithful thinking that Rodgers is sending everyone some kind of message.

Could this be everyone overthinking this? Potentially, but this very well could be Rodgers dropping a hint for everyone. This could mean either he’s planning to retire, or he’s going to play for a new team. Rodgers has been linked with the Broncos, Titans and more teams this offseason.

After winning his fourth MVP, Rodgers said that he was unsure of his future and that he’s going to take time before deciding what’s next. He clearly can still play at an elite level, as he was nothing short of outstanding in 2021.

Despite Rodgers looking so brilliant, the Packers choked against the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round, killing their Super Bowl dreams. We should find out soon enough if Rodgers will be back for one last dance with Green Bay or not.
