When is the March Madness bracket announced?

Here is when the selection show for the 2022 March Madness Tournament takes place.

Perhaps the most anticipated time of the college sports year is approaching. Of course, we are talking about March Madness and the NCAA Tournament for men’s basketball.

For the men’s bracket, there will be 68 teams competing, but only one will remain as the NCAA Division I Champions at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA.

There are plenty of contenders that could make their run to the Final Four with a shot to cut down the nets. Gonzaga is looking for redemption after falling one win short last season, Baylor is looking to repeat, Auburn and Kentucky are forces out of the SEC, and teams like Arizona and UCLA will make their presences felt as well. And that, of course, is just the tip of the iceberg.

When is the March Madness bracket announced?

2022 March Madness Selection Sunday will take place on March 13 at 6:30 p.m. ET. This will be following the conclusion of the conference championship tournaments. Then, you can officially begin filling out your brackets.

From there, the First Four will begin on March 15 and 16, with eight teams vying for the final four spots in the March Madness tournament. From there, the 64-team NCAA men’s basketball tournament begins on March 17.

The Final Four begins on Apr. 2 from the home stadium of the New Orleans Saints. Apr. 4 is the date for the National Championship Game.
