Outfielder Cristian Pache didn’t hesitate in admitting he’s heartbroken over being traded by the Atlanta Braves as part of the Matt Olson deal.

For Cristian Pache, his time with the Atlanta Braves has come to a close and he really couldn’t be more sad about it. Pache was informed on Monday that he’s part of the package being sent to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for Matt Olson.

Pache loved his time with the Braves, of course highlighted by the team winning the World Series in 2021. That’s why Pache admitted that he’s absolutely heartbroken knowing that he won’t be suiting up for the club again.

Atlanta Braves fans are showing Cristian Pache plenty of love after he was traded

Pache is just 23 years old and he has his best baseball ahead of him. The outfielder was hoping that the prime of his career would be coming with Atlanta, as he was ready to try and help this team capture more World Series glory.

Instead, he’ll now be taking his talents to the AL West to help the Athletics get back on track. In his tweet, Pache acknowledged just how special his relationship with the Braves fans was. This is why the news of him being traded is so difficult to understand for him.

The Atlanta faithful are flooding the replies of Pache’s tweet with messages of love and support themselves. While Pache, who appeared in 22 games last season, won’t be making plays for Atlanta next season, that doesn’t mean people in the city won’t be rooting for him throughout the year.
