The Indiana Hoosiers provided an interesting challenge for the UConn Huskies, but Paige Bueckers helped the Huskies get into the Elite Eight.

Unlike the Texas football team, Paige Bueckers is definitely back.

Well, Bueckers has been back from injury and able to play for UConn for a little while now, but she looks like she’s back to performing how she was prior to getting hurt. The UConn Huskies are definitely benefitting from Bueckers being able to perform at a high level.

During UConn’s solid 75-58 win over the Indiana Hoosiers, Bueckers put up 15 points, which tied her with Christyn Williams to be UConn’s leading scorer for the game. Bueckers also had two assists, a rebound, and a steal during the 33 minutes she played against the Hoosiers.

Bueckers is just rounding into form with the Huskies seeking another national title.

UConn Huskies advance to Elite Eight thanks in part to Paige Bueckers

During her first season on UConn’s campus, Bueckers was just about impossible to stop. Bueckers averaged 20 points per game and helped UConn have a phenomenal season. Unfortunately, this year hasn’t been as special as the Huskies’ star has had to overcome a pretty grueling injury.

But, if Bueckers is back to performing how she was prior to getting hurt, then UConn may be just about unstoppable. UConn is already tough to handle, but few will truly be able to keep up with the Huskies with Bueckers playing at a high level.
