UConn vs. South Carolina live stream, start time and prediction for Women’s National Championship

UConn will take on South Carolina for the women’s national championship on Sunday night.
In what should be a national championship game for the ages, Geno Auriemma’s UConn Huskies will meet Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks on Sunday night in Minneapolis.
UConn will be playing for its 12th national title under its iconic head coach. While the Huskies have made the Final Four every April the NCAA Tournament has been held since 2008, this will be their first national title appearance since 2016. To get back to the national championship game, the Huskies had to defeat traditional rival and reigning national champions Stanford to even get there.
As for South Carolina, Staley is at the peak of her powers as the greatest head coach in program history. The Gamecocks made their fourth trip in school history to the Final Four under her watch. After knocking out Louisville on Friday night, South Carolina will be playing in its second-ever national championship game. The last time they got this far, they beat Mississippi State in 2017.

Tipoff from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota will be at 8:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 3.

Though the Huskies may have the most talented player in the game in point guard Paige Bueckers, UConn had to claw and scratch its way into the national championship past Stanford. As for the Gamecocks, they had a much easier time putting away Louisville. This game will go down to the wire, but Staley will win South Carolina its second-ever national championship on the hardwood.
Prediction: South Carolina 68, UConn 61.
