After all was said and done, the No. 1 seed is the lone team standing as the 2022 NCAA national champions.

The Kansas Jayhawks defeated the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels 72-69 to win the national title game. Kansas overcame a 16-point deficit, making it the biggest comeback in national title game history.

It was a stressful game to watch for Jayhawks fans, but now is the time to bask in the glory of a national title victory. One way to do so is to order and wear Kansas’ official national championship apparel.

The last time that the Jayhawks were in this position was back in 2008, when they defeated the Memphis Tigers 75-68, which happened to be head coach Bill Self’s first championship. They last reached the national final in 2012, but lost to the Kentucky Wildcats.

10 years after that loss, the Jayhawks made history to win their fourth national championship in program history.
