San Francisco 49ers fans are going into panic mode with Deebo Samuel unfollowing the team on Instagram.

Is San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel trying to tell us something? In a bit of a stunning twist, Samuel has removed his Instagram profile picture in his 49ers jersey, while he has also unfollowed the team altogether.

On top of that, Samuel deleted around 80 photos from his account too. Because of this, people are nervous that potentially the star wideout is unhappy that he hasn’t received an extension from the team. The timing of this is interesting, as Stefon Diggs just agreed to his blockbuster deal with the Bills.

Deebo Samuel has sent quite the message for the 49ers front office

Samuel is entering the final year of his rookie contract. Similar to Seattle Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf, Samuel is hoping to get paid sooner than later. He’s showing what appears to be frustration on his Instagram.

We saw something similar with Kyler Murray, but the star signal-caller is on good terms with the Cardinals and was even spotted working out with JJ Watt recently. Who knows exactly what Samuel is thinking, but it has fans a bit worried.

Samuel has emerged as one of the most explosive players in the league. He’s got unreal wheels and is quite versatile for the San Francisco offense. It’s only a matter of time before he gets the payday he’s hoping for.

If the 49ers front office is smart, they’d show a little bit of urgency to try and finalize things as soon as possible. They don’t want Samuel unhappy leading up to camp. For now, it feels like he’s already a bit ticked off, which isn’t good for San Francisco at all.
