Joel Embiid was 0-14 on game-winning or game-tying shots in his career but picked a great time for his first game-winner in overtime to beat the Toronto Raptors to give the Philadelphia 76ers a 3-0 series lead.

Joel Embiid had a chance to win it in regulation but didn’t miss his chance to win in overtime. The likely NBA MVP drained a catch-and-shoot 3 with less than one second remaining on the clock in overtime to give the 76ers a 104-101 win to take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Embiid brought NBA Twitter to its collective feet with the stunning shot to take the air out of the lungs of Raptors north of the border.

However, it was pure exaltation on the Philadelphia 76ers radio call of the game-winning shot.

76ers fans likely have the hair on the back of their necks standing up and goosebumps after hearing this call. Chances are this call will be replayed for the next few days and this shot by Embiid could be one that defines his legacy with him and James Harden eyeing a championship.

With Harden fouling out, it was up to Embiid, the NBA scoring champion, to deliver in the clutch, and he did just that with 33 points with none bigger than the final three.
