The NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs got off to a hot start on opening night on Monday, May 2. The Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and St. Louis Blues each had convincing Game 1 victories over their Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild, respectively. Then, there were the Los Angeles Kings, who pulled off a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
