Joc Pederson returned to Atlanta to receive his World Series ring from the Braves. Here are three of the best moments from the ceremony.

Last year, the Atlanta Braves made a bevy of trades to make a push for the World Series, and it worked out tremendously. One of the players they acquired was outfielder Joc Pederson, who signed with the San Francisco Giants this offseason.

Now, he made his return to Atlanta on June 20 for the start of the Braves-Giants three-game series. Ahead of the first game, the Braves held a ceremony for Pederson as he received his second World Series ring.

Here are three of the best moments from the ceremony.

3. Braves’ video tribute for Joc Pederson

Of course, there can be no ceremony without a video tribute created by a team for their former player. Atlanta did just that, showcasing his debut with the team after being acquired from the Cubs, to making it to his speech at the World Series parade.

2. Joc Pederson reuniting with former Braves players, coaches

Come on, who doesn’t love a reunion? Ahead of the game and the ceremony, Pederson caught up with his former teammates and coaches, like third base coach Ron Washington.

The top spot goes for the ceremony itself. Pederson stood next to the Commissioner’s Trophy alongside former teammates Ian Anderson and Luke Jackson. In a hilarious moment, Anderson opened up the ring case for Pederson, but there was no ring to be found. Shortly afterwards, Jackson pulled out the ring from thin air and handed it to Pederson.

Pederson got his ring and a loud ovation from Braves fans at Truist Park.
