Wrestling fans were stunned to see CM Punk lose the AEW World title in quick fashion to Jon Moxley on the Aug. 24 episode of Dynamite.
It was just two weeks ago at the Quake by the Lake special, where AEW World Champion CM Punk made his return to the company. The AEW World champion saved Jon Moxley, the interim titleholder, from an attack. The following week, the two had a heated exchange that caused the two to be separated multiple times during Dynamite. Originally slated for the Sept. 4 All Out pay-per-view, Punk vs. Moxley to unify the AEW World titles was set for Aug. 24 for free on television.
To the shock of many, Punk lost in a matter of minutes to Moxley to lose the AEW World championship. Punk went for a kick, but grabbed his foot. That allowed Moxley to capitalize, hitting Punk with his Death Rider finishing move twice to become the undisputed AEW World titleholder.

Is CM Punk hurt?
Punk is coming off of a legitimate foot injury. Shortly after he won the world title against “Hangman” Adam Page, Punk announced that he had to step away from wrestling to take care of his injury.
As for if Punk is hurt again, that remains to be seen. The commentary team was pushing that he was coming off of that foot injury. You can check out the spot of the match below:

How old is Jon Moxley?
Moxley is 36-years-old, and holds a distinction that no one else in AEW can say. He is the only multiple-time world champion in the company following his squash over Punk.

CM Punk: Jon Moxley is the third best guy in his own group. That seems to be a reoccurring theme in his career.
