Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins celebrated the team’s win over the Washington Commanders shirtless on the plane.

Kirk Cousins made his return to Washington to take on his former team in the Commanders. The Minnesota Vikings quarterback looked to lead his team to a 7-1 start to the season under new head coach Kevin O’Connell. The Vikings did have a scare, but they were able to walk out of FedEx Field with a 20-17 win after a game-winning field goal by Greg Joseph.

The Vikings decided to celebrate on the plane, where Cousins was front and center, shirtless and dancing, while wearing a chain. The video was courtesy of Vikings cornerback Cam Danztler.

Vikings: Kirk Cousins celebrate win over former team shirtless

You like that, Vikings fans?

During his postgame speech to his team, O’Connell said “get him his chains.” Well, Cousins did, and he wore them on the flight back to Minnesota.

Minnesota took a 7-0 lead early on a touchdown pass by Cousins to wide receiver Justin Jefferson. The problem is that the Commanders scored 17 unanswered points behind two touchdown passes by Taylor Heinicke. Yet, Cousins led the Vikings to a comeback.

Following a 25-yard field goal by Greg Joseph, the Vikings were able to take advantage of a bad interception thrown by Heinicke, culminating in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Cousins to running back Dalvin Cook. Then, with just 12-seconds remaining, Joseph kicked the game-winner.

In the game, Cousins completed 22-of-40 pass attempts for 265 yards and two touchdowns, while throwing one interception.

The Vikings have now won six games in a row. Their next feat will be handing the Buffalo Bills their third loss of the season in Week 10.
