There is one golfer who has the opportunity to complete the career grand slam at this year’s edition of the Masters. That man is Rory McIlroy.

McIlroy hasn’t won a major since 2014, but he already has a US Open, PGA Championship, and Open Championship to his name. A Green Jacket is the last one he needs to become the sixth golfer to achieve the career grand slam.

Can he get it done? Let’s take a look at the full list of available odds for Rory this week.

Rory McIlroy odds to win The Masters

Rory McIlroy is set as the co-favorite alongside Scottie Scheffler heading into the Masters this week. At +700, his implied odds of winning are 12.5%.

I am not personally betting on McIlroy to win. You can find my picks to win here.

McIlroy’s results will come down to his short game. We know his play off the tee and his approach play will be strong, but his chipping and putting will make the difference. He was terrible in this area last month at The Players Championship, and it resulted in a missed cut.

With that being said, he changed his putter ahead of the Match Play and ended with a third place finish.

I’d rather bet on him to finish in the Top 10 instead of winning.

Rory McIlroy to Make Cut

Rory fans have little to worry about when it comes to him making the cut. His odds to make the cut are set at -2000, which is a 95.24% chance. He surprisingly missed the cut at the Masters in 2021 and that was the first time that happened since 2010.

Rory McIlroy vs. Scottie Scheffler

You can also bet on an intriguing head-to-head matchup between McIlroy and Scheffler. They’re the co-favorites to win, but which one will show up and perform better? It’s also worth nothing that these are the two golfers who finished 1st and 2nd at Augusta National last year.

I’ll back the defending champ in Scheffler, but it’s going to be an interesting matchup to watch.
