The Houston Texans are dealing with injuries to their top-two running backs. All-Pro Arian Foster is dealing with a hamstring injury that is considered minor, but it could be enough to keep him out this week vs the Indianapolis Colts.

Not only is he ailing, but backup Ben Tate broke four ribs and while he hopes to play in Week 9, his status will be in doubt leading up to the Sunday night AFC South showdown.

According to multiple reports, the Texans will sign running back Deji Karim:

They will also sign Dennis Johnson, who’s been on the Cleveland Browns practice squad, according to Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports.

A 2-5 record and a five-game losing streak has not only made a trip to the Super Bowl very unlikely for a team that claimed it was Super Bowl-or-bust prior to the season, but has the team in a must-win scenario against a Colts team that’s beat seemingly every elite team in NFL at home.
