Moments after Richard Sherman deflected a Colin Kaepernick pass intended for Michael Crabtree that resulted in the game-clinching interception for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game win over the San Francisco 49ers, Sherman caused quite the stir in his postgame interview on Fox with Erin Andrews.

The interview was so controversial that according to Richard Deitsch, the network’s producers made the call to cut the interview short with Andrews.

Critics who hated to hear what Sherman had to say in his boastful comments moments after his team clinched a berth in Super Bowl XLVIII were spared more comments to chastise the All-Pro cornerback.

Meanwhile, his staunchest defenders were deprived of more comments from the corner who has never been mistaken for a shrinking violet.

Sherman should be the main attraction at Media Day for the Super Bowl this year.
