The NFL is known for it’s hard hits and bone crunching defensive style and that has been seen personified with the Seattle Seahawks defense Legion of Boom we saw dominate the NFL in 2013 all the way through to a Super Bowl win.

But off the field, the Legion of Boom is less terrifying and we saw a great example of that on Sunday when cornerback Richard Sherman channeled his inner wide receiver and joined Doug Baldwin for a pedicure.

It’s not as bad as looks as Sherman is the type of guy who is clearly educated enough to be happy with who he is and not let people get him sown. It’s how he’s lived his entire life and it’s helped make him who he is.

In all honesty, it’s really the core reason we like Sherman as a player and a guy as he clearly takes care of himself and isn’t about to avoid the finer things in life because some people may laugh. You can make fun of his pedicure now, but only one of you two will be crying when the Seahawks and your favorite team meet up in 2014.
