Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks: What to watch for
Aaron Rodgers and the beloved Green Bay Packers return this year in grand fashion as they will face the Seattle Seahawks for the NFL’s kickoff game.
This is the first match up between these two teams in Seattle since the miraculous Hail Mary play that Russell Wilson was able to complete.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback has some miracles up his sleeve as well.
Rodgers has the ability to throw a boat load of touchdowns and only single digit interceptions. If he can manage to have a season with 35 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, it will suffice. The Packers rely on Rodgers ability to make plays for their offense and since joining the Packers that is all he has done.
The Packers also return their star running back in his second year, Eddie Lacy. He rushed for over 1,000 yards and he brings a special dynamic to the offense.
Speaking of running the football, the Seattle Seahawks have a star running back of their own, Marshawn Lynch. The first game of the regular season is Lynch’s homecoming since winning a Super Bowl. Though normally shy and reserved, it will be interesting to see how he reacts when he begins a new chapter in his life as a champion.
These two juggernauts both have championship aspirations this season and we will see which team is ready to play from jump street.
Here are five things to watch for in this game.
