Lee Corso just knows how to entertain the masses, spiking a fish on the College GameDay set from Seattle.

When it comes to ESPN College GameDay each week, there are two relatively certainties. First, they are almost always going to try and incorporate something from the city’s culture that they’re invading. Secondly, you can almost always count on Lee Corso to have something wild to either say, do, or pull off. In Week 11 of the college football season with the crew in Seattle for USC vs. Washington, those two certainties met in the middle.

During the segment when the crew gets food from the area brought to them, they changed it up a bit and incorporated the famed Seattle fish markets. Someone threw Rece Davis a fish—which he made a nice grab to haul in—and someone then gave Corso one. However, the famed analyst and coach just needed his prop for the main event.

After cheering for having the fish in hand, Lee Corso then proceeded to spike the fish on the GameDay set. When he’s holding seafood, I guess he turns into Gronk Corso:

I’m not sure there’s a more surreal experience on planet earth then watching an 81-year-old man spike a dead fish on live TV. However, we’re all better for having seen it.

Though he’s definitely dropped a step in recent years, it’s going to be hard to watch Lee Corso go. He’s been such a staple on Saturday mornings with GameDay and the headgear picks that it’s going to be odd watching the show without him. At least he’s enjoying every second of his final moments with the show and on ESPN, though. And if that includes spiking a dead fish, well then spike all the seafood you please, coach.
