The Minnesota Vikings sound guy forgot where he was and got run over by Brian Robison and Linval Joseph during the pre-game at US Bank Stadium.

Despite the Minnesota Vikings being losers of four straight football games, things were getting all sorts of hyped up at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon. The pre-game rituals at Vikings games are visual spectacles that most NFL teams should be envious of.

They are so mesmerizing that this poor Vikings sound guy forgot where he was standing on the football field. He lined up right in the middle of a rush of Vikings players coming out of the tunnel. Linebacker Brian Robison collided with the guy, who bounced into defensive tackle Linval Joseph before hitting turf.

For Whom the Bell Tolls, not this guy. He didn’t look both ways before running into essentially on-coming traffic. 250+ pound professional athletes aren’t super keen on big guys like Robison and Joseph charging in their direction.

The sound guy hit the US Bank Stadium turf harder than Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer would on any drop back. Maybe this unfortunate collision with the sound guy has sparked some sort of energy in this otherwise stagnant Vikings team?

Minnesota is playing its best ball in over a month on Sunday against the flightless Cardinals. The Vikings have had several explosive plays, including a Xavier Rhodes pick-six and a Cordarrelle Patterson kick return for a touchdown.

Seeing Robinson and Joseph unintentionally decking that sound guy had to be a sign of good things to come for the Vikings. The Vikings were the Vikings and the sound guy was the Cardinals’ slim NFC Playoff hopes.
