For the second time in the last couple weeks, the Golden State Warriors have dumped an assistant coach.
First, it was Brian Scalabrine, who was reassigned by Warriors’ head coach Mark Jackson.
Now, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, assistant coach Darren Erman has been relieved of his duties.

According to Diamond Leung of The Bay Area News Group, the firing is not related to the demotion of Scalabrine.
Darren Erman fired due to violation of company policy unrelated to basketball. Bob Myers said unrelated to Brian Scalabrine.

This move was not made by Jackson and the organization wanted to make that clear.
Warriors GM Bob Myers said Darren Erman decision was made among the highest parts of the organization and is unrelated to Brian Scalabrine.

Erman was with the Boston Celtics before joining the Warriors.
