#IBelieve: America’s New USA Chant

Could  USA!USA!USA  soon be replaced by #IBelieve?

Sitting mere hours away from the start of the 2014 World Cup it is time to take a look at who believes. There is nothing more American than dawning the red, white and blue. Regardless of whether  you are waving a flag, wearing a hat, or prancing around in some comfortable and stylish USA undergarments, the theme for clothing will be of a very particular color. For the US the World Cup could not have better timing, well maybe by another week and a half if we are getting technical.

Every year in the week leading up to July 4th weekend the parades of flag waving armadas take to city streets, however this year, if the USA were to get out of the group stage in 2nd place, they could potentially have a match-up on the first of July. Somehow, someway they pulled off another “miracle” they would play on the 5th of July. I don’t know if there is anything more patriotic than book-ending an Independence day weekend with the possibilities of US Soccer shocking the world.

While at first I must admit I was not a fan, I have to say it gets the blood pumping
