Ty Lawson calls out Cowboys, James Harden defense on Instagram

As the Dallas Cowboys continue to be embarrassed on national television at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson posted this meme on his Instagram page taking a shot at the Cowboys defense by saying Houston Rockets point guard James Harden is their defensive coordinator.
After a video surfaced which picked apart how bad a defensive player James Harden was last season for the Rockets, lack of defense and effort became the biggest, running meme on Twitter. Harden’s poor defense has even translated over to the FIBA World Cup as Team USA hopes to take home the gold.
And like Harden, the Cowboys defense isn’t good–last year they set the record for most yards allowed by a NFL defense in a season. Unfortunately, they have done little to improve their awful defense as injuries have decimated what was last year.
In the opening quarter, the Cowboys defense gave up 14 points in a span of two minutes, both touchdowns from Colin Kaepernick to Vernon Davis. They’ve done better since then–the 49ers have only 28 points–but their gafs at the beginning of the game along with Tony Romo’s three first quarter interceptions created a hole they’re unable to dig themselves out of.
Obviously Lawson means no harm (the picture is a repost), but this is what sports are all about–by doing nothing (literally), Harden became the face of the Cowboy’s inept defense via meme.
