The Brooklyn Nets kick off preseason action at Barclays Center Tuesday night against Macabbi Tel Aviv. We have our answer for who the Nets starting shooting guard will be at least for the first game.

Bojan Bogdanovic has never played in an NBA game, but he has experience playing professionally in Europe. Bojan Bogdanovic played in the Fiba World Cup this summer for Croatia.  Bojan Bogdanovic played very well averaging 21.2 points per game during the tournament.

Nets coach Lionel Hollins was impressed with Bojan Bogdanovic’s performance at the Fiba World Cup and that’s a main reason why he has the confidence to start him this early. Paul Pierce left the Nets in favor of the Washington Wizards. That means Bojan Bogdanovic will be see more minutes. That shows the confidence the Nets organization has in Bojan Bogdanovic.

Bojan Bogdanovic’s NBA journey begins Tuesday night at Barclays Center in downtown Brooklyn and this is his first chance to show what he has in store during live game NBA action. If Bojan Bogdanovic continues to plays well during practice and he impresses during the preseason, he may very well find himself as the Nets opening day shooting guard.
