Detroit Lions (3-2) at Minnesota Vikings (2-3)

Minnesota Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater should be back for the NFC North match-up with the Detroit Lions, but he’ll have his hands full against a relentless Lions pass rush, who has registered 17.0 sacks in just five games this season, the second-most in the league. If Bridgewater can avoid sacks and take care of the ball, Minnesota has the ability to take this one from the Lions.

If Bridgewater doesn’t player, Christian Ponder will likely get the start again, and Minnesota will likely lose… again.

The Lions could be without their star receiver and game-changer Calvin Johnson. In Week 5, Johnson was limited to one catch for only seven yards against the Buffalo Bills and was pulled early in the game after aggravating an ankle injury. Johnson is “strongly considering” sitting out Week 6 against the Vikings, according to CBS Sports. The Lions offense and quarterback Matthew Stafford looked uncomfortable and stagnant without their star during the loss to the Bills on Sunday.

This game depends on Johnson’s health and if he plays. If Johnson misses the game, expect Golden Tate to have another monster week for the Lions, but it could all be for naught.

I’m guessing Johnson sits.
