Winner: Atlanta Falcons creeps towards respectability

Sure, the NFC South is still 14 shades of ugly football, but Atlanta is getting its act together.

And yeah, they were able to take advantage of an Arizona team which was dealing with a ton of injuries.

Despite that, Falcons fans should have cause for joy. Matt Ryan was only sacked once, threw the ball well and made few mistakes (aside from one interception). Steven Jackson finally ran like the team was hoping he would run when they signed him, while Julio Jones looks like the dominant receiver they have been waiting to emerge again.

Atlanta might—MIGHT MIND YOU—make .500 by the time the playoffs come.

This actually looks like a team which could be heating up right now, which means if they do limp into the playoffs, they could be a very dangerous team.
