Bears’ Jay Cutler couldn’t sell an autographed football (Video)
By Lauren Lapka
No one wanted to buy a Jay Cutler autographed football at a charity event, and it is hilarious.
If Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler didn’t already feel rejected, he may certainly feel it now. On March 26, he submitted a white autographed football to the Anti-Cruelty Society for them to auction off at a pet-adoption charity. While displayed at the Society’s Chosen Man’s Best Friend and Factor Felines fashion show and charity event at Bloomingdales on North Michigan Avenue, the ball did not receive one.. single.. bid.

Most of the items on auction were non-sports related, although there was reportedly a book about former University of Illinois men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber that went for $120. As for Jay’s ball, a nice man called the Anti-Cruelty Society yesterday to offer $100 for it. The man is said to be picking it up today, to give it to his son as a birthday gift.
