New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis flew to the hoop all day in his NBA Playoffs debut

Anthony Davis had quite the playoff debut on Saturday, despite the loss his team suffered.

Much like the regular season, Davis was an absolute monster in the interior paint offensively and defensively. With an impressive offensive performance, Davis made several highlight reel dunks.

One of his biggest emphatic slams came when he blew past Warriors forward Draymond Green for a big two-hand slam.

Just take a gander at this beauty:

Considering Green is one of the best defensive players in the league, to make him look like he was stuck in concrete is impressive enough.

The jam simply capped off his beautiful move.

Later in the game, Davis much like the Pelicans logo, showed off his awe-inspiring wingspan as he went up to throw down a one-handed alley-oop.

The Warriors defense completely lost Davis on the play and as they turned around they had no choice but to have an up front view of the spectacular play.

If Dwight Howard can be in the dunk contest as a big man, so should Anthony Davis, and what a treat that would be to see.

With 35 points Saturday, Davis kept the Pelicans in it as they rallied from a 20+ point deficit and fell just short in defeat. His heads up defense and finesse moves on offense gave the Warriors defense fits all day.

If Davis keeps making big plays like he did Saturday, then the Pelicans will be a tough team to dispatch from the playoffs.

Here’s to hoping the Pelicans play in as many playoff games as possible this year, just so the world can continue to watch Anthony Davis play.
