Robert Griffin III hasn’t lived up to his potential yet, but his cheesiness is as on point as it’s ever been in his career.

It’s hard to like Robert Griffin III, and the reasons for that vary from person to person. Whether it’s because you don’t like that he hasn’t lived up to the hype or the fact that he seems to think his struggles are everyone else’s fault, Robert Griffin III is not a sympathetic character.

What makes him less likable is his cringeworthy usage of cheesy sayings. He doesn’t plagiarize tried and true cheesy sayings, he just straight up makes them up as he goes. The latest example of this was seen at Redskins minicamp, where Griffin came up with the worst nickname for a camp possible.

In short, Robert Griffin III is not very good at picking nicknames for minicamp and needs to lay off the cheese.

As the Cheetos cheetah has taught us over the years, it ain’t easy being cheesy.

Robert Griffin III makes being cheesy look pretty easy though — easier than winning football games anyways. In his three seasons in the NFL, RGIII has gone from promising young Rookie of the Year to a player we’re all rolling our eyes at every time he says something.

This is not the way to motivate your team. This isn’t a Cameron Crowe coming-of-age film where we all find ourselves, this is NFL minicamp where you need to get your team in the right state of mind. Robert Griffin III isn’t a bad quarterback, but he needs to make sure he finds himself before he starts preaching what he has no clue about.
